Meet our Panelists

Michael Stamp (Class 2009)
Michael completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Notre Dame University before studying for a postgraduate Diploma of Broadcasting at Edith Cowan University in 2014. Michael started his career at Radio 6PR in 2015 as a sports Journalist before quickly moving into general news as a reporter and reader. A move to Nine News Perth in 2017 as a general news reporter has seen Michael cover a wide range of stories, including bushfires, cyclones, shark attacks and murders. Michael is currently a Crime Reporter at Nine News Perth.

Tori Anderson (Class 1999)
Since the age of 14, Tori has seen injustice and inequality as challenges that must be tackled and overcome. While at university, she joined AIESEC, an international youth leadership organisation and went on to found and become the national president of AIESEC in Pakistan, where Tori's passion for the rights of women and children was ignited. Her determination to drive change took her to Afghanistan to support gender diversity, to India, where she developed micro-credit schemes for women and to Thailand to work on projects aimed at stopping child sex trafficking. Tori was selected for a Rotary World Peace Fellowship and was 2012 Victorian Australian of the Year Finalist. Tori has recently returned to Perth, is a Director at DGB Group and has recently joined John XXIII Foundation Engagement Committee.

Charlotte Haygarth (Class 2003) and Sophie Lawrence (Class 2003)
These two enterprising alumnae established Denada, a multi-million-dollar 99% sugar-free ice-cream business. The company was founded by three Australians: an Olympian, a pastry chef and an ice cream enthusiast. Denada operates on two fundamental principles: Everybody needs dessert; nobody needs added sugar. Tasty and healthy: together at last. Charlotte and Sophie's John XXIII College education facilitated a lifelong friendship and a successful global business. The company's 15 products are now available from over 2,000 stockists.

Justice Robert Mazza (Class 1975)
Justice Mazza was appointed to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2010 and as a judge of the Court of Appeal the following year.
Robert Mazza studied at St Louis (Class 1975) and graduated from UWA with a Bachelor of Laws in 1980, mainly practicing in criminal law.

In 2002, he became Deputy President of the Equal Opportunity Tribunal. In 2004, he was appointed a judge of the District Court of Western Australia.
As an alumnus of St Louis and a past parent of John XXIII College, Justice Mazza has dedicated his life to seeking justice through his work and voluntary positions. He has undeniably lived the St Louis motto of Altioro Peto,'I seek higher things'.

Robert continues his connections to the College through his passion for playing hockey with JTA and his family support of the John XXIII College Foundation.
